Town of Millington

The Comprehensive Plan is the principal document that outlines the Town's direction, policy, and action regarding land use.  The Town of Millington prepares a variety of specific plans and ordinances as required by State laws.  This specific plans and ordinances must stay in compliance with and conform to the Town's Comprehensive Plan.

The Comprehensive Plan is currently in the final stages of being rewritten by the Planning Commission, and will then be reviewed by the Mayor and Council for consideration of adoption.

The Planning Commission has completed the 2009 Comprehensive Plan.  At it's June 25th meeting the Planning Commission recommended the 2009 Comprehensive Plan for adoption by the Mayor and Council.  To view documents from the various workshops visit www.peterjohnstonassociates.com.  At it's September 2nd meeting the Mayor and Council adopted the 2009 Comprehensive Plan as recommended by the Planning Commission.
