WATER FRONT PARK

    In 2005, the Mayor and Council of Millington approved the construction of fishing piers, a walking trail, and a canoe launch at their property located just south of the Chester River Bridge next to the Wastewater Treatment Plant.  For years this area has been enjoyed by fishermen during the spring perch run and throughout the summer by fishermen and local residents.  Construction began the fall of 2007 after many months of securing the necessary permits to construction this park.  The estimated finish date is Spring 2008, just in time for the annual perch run.
